im looking to buy a new BOV to replace my $50 Turbo XS POS, what is the best sounding BOV ....... for the price?

 

Well the problem is everyone is going to have a different opinion on what sounds good...I am sure some people think the turbo xs is a good sounding BOV. There is a site that has a bunch of recordings of different BOV's, maybe someone remembers what it is cause I sure as hell cant.

BTW....what is it you don't like about the turbo xs BOV...I was thinking of pickin one up.

I have the TurboXs type H and I don't have a problem with it. It might be al little on the loud side. If I just get into the gas a little without even registering boost it explodes PSSSSHHHHHH and everybody within a 3 block radius is checking to see if my tire blew up.

i like the high pitch ones my self the bov that i have now sounds like i ------- farted or something

 

hks blow off's sound like ***.

 

1 or 2g eclipse are the best especially when they fall into your toolbox at the pick and pull. good sound too.

 

If you like the high pitched ones. Take a look at the Greddy Type S's. I had the first gen DSM one and it was more a woooooosh sound. Currently I am using the Type S and it has more of a loud high pitched whip cracking sound if you make it tight. It is adjustable so it can make different sounds depending on the boost and your settings.
