The turbo in question is a 14b turbo, on the actuator there are two nipples right?(one for vacuum and one for boost)Or is there only one nipple for boost? and the cooling, is it really necessary to have the turbo water cooled or not?Finally is there any way to make the 14b turbo a external wastegate turbo because i heard that external wastegates can lower the boost more then the internal ones.Any info is appreciated and if this thread is worthless tell me and i'll delete, thanks.

 

1. ifyou mean 1 on the wastegate andone on the compressor housing then you connect them together
2 no its not nessacry to water cool your turbo (youll get different opinions on that)
3 and the spring inside the wastegate is how low the boost can go. you cant lower it.
