Really Basic Questions

Really Basic Questions
Heya guys.
Im new to this website, but I was wondering if you guys could answer some really easy, yet necessary, questions?
I was wondering about the oil lines. I know one line goes to the turbo, but I was wondering where the oil line FROM the turbo ended up. I was guessing back to the oil pan (which makes opening that need to be welded to) or somewhere else in the engine to continue the cycle of the oil without cooling it down?
Also, I was wondering if you could define a few words for me
I need a basic definition of:
BOV(blow off valve)-guessed it was the seal in wastegate?
VAFC(hack style)
SAFC
Where exactly does the FMU go? I know it goes near the injectors, but EXACTLY which part?
I know these are retarded questions, but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Re:Really Basic Questions
A BOV releases boost when you let off the gas to prevent compressor surge and keep the turbo spinning a little.
The VAFC and SAFC are the same thing but the VAFC can comtrol when you crossover into Vtec.
Last one I have no idea.

Re:Really Basic Questions
I went to the big collection of FAQs, but I couldnt find what I wanted. Either the pictures wouldnt show up or the websites that did have pictures were outdated.
Its kinda hard to understand what they're talking about when they dont mention the function of the parts they're discussing. Just a newbie standpoint. =)
BTW Ive been reading into turbos for about a month now, and its just the fuel management and Fuel to Air ratios that are throwing me off a bit. Its just like trying to imagine where everything goes without having someone break it down for ya. Kinda difficult
So do the SAFC and VAFC regulate the fuel injectors to produce the correct amount of fuel with the extra intake of air?

Re:Really Basic Questions
Wastegate and BOV are different, search and ull find out what they both do.
The oil line goes from the turbo to the oil pan where u install a fitting by welding it or jb welding it there.
VAFC = Vtec air fuel controller, the hack is when u use it as turbo piggyback management system.
SAFC = VAFC for non vtec cars, Super air fuel controller
---- THE FMU, stick with the afc hack.
I think uve reached the limit of ur noobie questions so from now on u gotta search for ur answers!

No problem man. When i first started comin' here, i didn't know jack, so i just read everything i could until i started to understand what they meant. Then i started making posts(the reason why a few members ?'d me on y i signed on in august and never made a post ). Research is the key, my man...i think everyone will agree.
