i have heard of this before. anyone here tried it or even seen it? i have a set of b-16 rods but where cani get the right supra pistons? hope u guys canhelp. Brian

 

I've heard of it. Never seen it done. You gotta get it from turbopanda or whatever on HT.

 

yeah its somwhere in the forced induction part of honda-tech however good look...there used to be like a 10 page post about it but now it seems to have all but dissapeared

i know its the domed supra piston and b16a rod combo supposed to let you hang around in 15-17psi daily SAFELY with an SOHC...lots of good reviews had the package going for like $499 if i'm not mistaken...however was having problems getting all the parts being that he needed to get them directly for japan/taiwan or somewhere over there.

 

The guy that sells them is in thialand or japan or what ever...

So B16A rods can handle 15-17 psi daily?

 

with really low compression. which is prob what the pistons do

 

Just get the rods designed to spec for your honda, sheesh.

How much would a set of pistons and rods that could hold 20psi cost vs the supra/B-rods ?? I'd bet the sleeves would give, before the internals on either set-up..
