Anyone use some type of coupler glue on chargepipes ?
I was reading about a S/C mustang that used, " gorilla grip " on the chargepipes to help them stay on and sealed.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of this or anything else like it. I have heard of using cheap ass hair spray to help keep the pipes from blowing off. -Bryan |

What psi are you running?
I would never use gorilla glue, but I would try hairspray if I ever had problems. But I don't. |

Bead the end of your pipes.

I don't have any issues with the pipes coming off, but every bit helps when your making 400whp with a mistu TD04 turbo. Even small boost leaks drain power, essp. when your maxing the turbo out.
I just read it in a mustang magizine, and had me thinking. I might use a bit of "aquanet" hair spray next time I have the turbo off. My buddy has a SVO mustang and says it works well. |

I used to use aquanet hairspray in my potato gun for a fuel/propellant. Read the first 3 or 4 ingredients, you'll laugh and know why it makes a good fuel.

I used 3m spray adhesive. It held good up to 20psi with worm clamps and no beads. Above 20 they started to slip off.

I spend hours boost leak testing... |

Quit ordering shitty $80 eBay pipe kits that aren't bead rolled.
