Re:any one turbo an HF??
yeah, don't waste your time.. and HF motor only has 8 valves, roller-rockers, and very, very small exhaust ports compared to the Si. It also cuts out the fuel at 5500 rpm. you would need the smallest turbo you could find to even make it evan halway kinda boost...
Just wait until you get your Si block, and save your HF motor to use as a template for building a Turbo kit.

Re:any one turbo an HF??
I will have an Si engine for sale in about 2 or 3 months. If anyone is interested. It is in great shape. It had 63K miles when I swaped it in my crx. The stock motor had a bad bottom end when I got my car so I got this engine and changed the water pump, timing belt, oil seals and clutch before swapping it. I also had the valves adjusted. It sounds and runs like new. I'll let you know when I complete my swap.

Re:any one turbo an HF??
i think you would be LUCKY to get 100 whp out of a turboed HF. there just not built for any performance at all. and even if you get an SI engine for 300 you still need a tranny. i cant imagine going fast at all with the HF tranny. when i had an HF crx i would floor it in every gear and it still bogged. 1st was like starting out in 3rd on my type r tranny hehe
just fyi the theoretical top speed of the HF transmision REDLINING at 5500 IS STILL 170mph
do a ZC swap, thats your best bet if your on a budget
