You could, but it would still be slow. Probably like the stock si motor. But then after you got the si motor the kit would work, so you wouldn't have to build one, and your car would be faster while you were searching for the new motor.

turbocharing the HF would notmake it as fast as a Si

it would be way way faster.

Not really dude, the HF comes with a blister 62hp, and the SI comes with 108hp. Normally turbokits running 5psi or so non-intercooled will only gain 30-40hp.

But it may have a little bit more torque than the si, and thats about it. Remember the HF fuel system is pretty weak. I suppose you could build a turbokit for it, then later on transfer the parts over to your SI. Either way its going to blow. I would say, throw a set of 88-91si injectors in it and PM6 ecu (if it works) and boost 5psi and see what happens.

wow really thats sucks.
i couldnt' imagine spending money turbocharging an engine then having it be as fast as my crx NA right now. that would make me cry.

build it. run it until you find an si motor for cheap. then turn the boost up as high as shell go and take it for a spin.. then tow it home.

Man, you must have some serious time on your hands to waste it polishing turds.

HF = ---- performance motor.
HF + Turbo = ---- performance motor.

An Si longblock can be had for less than $300. Is it worth all that time invested to work on an HF?

C'mon people show some common sense.
