Ya Walter. The PSI or Boost Rating of an External Wastegate is Sorted by color.

For Example:
Yellow=3.63psi
Red=6.7psi
Blue=8.7psi

And so on. Problem is all different brands have different ratings and colors.

We are going to test the WG with the Air Compressor and regulator tomorrow and possibly cut the spring until the new one comes in. If we cut too much I got the TullosTech EBC to use.

problem #3

in crome in the "options" tab there is a "iacv duty cycle" slider. try moving that around.

or this which is what solved my idle problem, disconnect the evap purge solinoid.

# 1 try disconnecting the wastegate dump tube, maybe for some reason its causing a restricton and not letting the wastegate flow enough to regulate boost.. i would try the spring first thats what the problem seems to be.

problem #2 and #3 could be related. Small vacuum leaks can attribute to a poor idle. I know because since i swapped to a y8 intake manifold, i cant get rid of them.

When Overboost is fixed. We used the air compessor and found the WG was starting to open at 18psi!!!!

We cut the spring and re-tested a few times, threw it back on the car and make a solid 7psi now. So we just need to throw a boost controller on it and bring it to 9psi like we want.
