I will try to provide pics soon enough, but I am actually out of town posting this, but I can't get my turbo project out of my head. My car is sitting in pieces on my friends driveway, but all seems to be going well. The last couple things I need to do are the things I have questions about. I know some of the stuff is explained in the noob faq, but I still need a little more deatil on some things just to be sure. Anyways...

1. My Dsm 450cc injectors

I dont have a resistor box, but I went to radioshack and picked up four 10Watt - 10 Ohm power resistors. To install them, do I simply splice the yellow/black wire leading to the injectors and solder each resistor inline with that wire, and thats all I have to do? Also, I have a d16z6, and I see that you need to dremel a part of the injector to get them to fit in the manifold, is this always the case? Or do they just somtimes fit right in?

2. My wastegate actuator

It seems that although the thing is threaded, the little ****** doesnt want to thread up or down, and the arm is pretty much all the way out. I dont want to reef on it, as its a pretty fragile piece it seems. I will try to heat it up and lube it to try and get it to thread, but if I cant get it to work, can I just use a mbc to fix the problem? Also, is there any way to test the actuator to make sure it actually opens? Like hooking up the WG hose to an air compressor and lightly giving it some air?

3. The oil preasure sensor feed

I bought a stealth mode oil kit, and the thing is badass, but I am having trouble locating the place to put my tuner toys block fitting, I think its right above my oil filter, but I haven't taken it off yet to check. Am I on the right track, or is it located somewhere else on the D16Z6 block?

4. My dsm bov...

I got a brand new one from a buddy for super cheap, I welded the flange on and everything, so my question is.... does the thing sound badass? I went for a ride in my friends turbo d15 hatch with a Greddy type S, and it almost made me wet my pants.... but ive heard bad things about the greddy bovs...

Anyway, the details on my setup are

T3 .60/.48(hot) (from down2turbo)
CCA IC
BMC Log mani (fits great, but in order to mount the turbo up to my block, I had to cut the long bracket off my power steering bracket, and that was a bitch, in order to get the turbo mounted up.
cutom charge pipe
dsm bov.
dsm 450s..
Uberdata (beerbongs revised map as a base)
I am hoping for a 9psi daily setup, maybe 7 or 8, I don't know what to expect, but I know I am going to love it.

Ok hear goes......

1.Yes the resistors go in between the yellow/black wires going to injectors but I would use a multimeter to check for continuity first before cutting/soldering anything. To make the injectors fit the intake mani you will need to dremel it out a bit but a little lube and elbow grease might do the trick. You will also have to cut the tabs in the injectors for the ob1 injector clips to work.

2.I wouldn't mess with the actuater. You don't want it to lead to probs later. I would rather use a mbc. To check if the flapper opens you can use an air comp to blow into it. It worked for me.

3.Yes the oil pressure sensor is above the oil filter. It has a rubber cap covering it. You can either use vise grips or a deep 24mm socket. I would also suggest using teflon tape just for piece of mind.

4.I'm running a dsm and it sounds sweet. It's a nice pshhhhhhhhht. It's suprising loud but not as loud as a blitz which sounds similar to it.
