Well, i think i found a deal of a lifetime, i got a local guy with a set of ex pistons and rods with only 40K miles on them for $40, so ill be picking them up within the next few days. but before i boost another motor, it will have a better fuel managment, does anyone know a better way then those damn check valves that dont work worth a ----, i have a ex manifold, and ive been using that map sensor b/c my original i think is bad, it makes my car shut off without boost now, so is there any way to get around that? thanks guys, i couldnt let this old motor go.

a9 rods and ZC rods are the same 88-89

the 86-87 D16a1 rods are the biggest/strongest D-series rod ever made.. and they are not much bigger than the normal D's
