another D16 down the drain...
Well all this hard work put into my home made turbo setup and it had to blow, man that sucks. I had finally worked out the timing problem and had it running 7 psi on my little t25. i dunno why it just fried the rings on 2 pistons like it did but i was in 3rd boosting and it quit going any higher than 6 grand, so i let off and no more go at all, ohwell it was fun, i got my backup motor in there now so we should be fine, Ill keep you posted on the next HMT setup

Sure wish I had your friends! I'd love to have an extra engine sitting around that I could build. Especially a Y8 like the one I've already got, yummy, but I can't see turning down ANY donor engine!

Yes they are stronger capable of figures close to 300 at the wheels. They aren't however direct replacements. about $100 worth of machine work welding and rebushing the wrist pin hole to accept the civic pin and lathing the large end to fit the civic crank.
