Almost done with the update lol

I started running low on funds so had to opt out of the Jethot coating and decided to wrap the headers for now with Defi Titanium wrap.

Watch his speed as he is setting up the tune (he was actually moving faster at one point...damn he knows his stuff.

Some on dyno tuning going on in this vid

I admit it was a long and frustrating day as some first tunes are. Cort walked me though some suggestions as we were re-routing vacuum lines ripping out unnecessary parts and replacing my bad wideband sensor. This was why we ran out of time before we could get to the meth injection part.

Results for the day

But all in all not too bad for round one, round two will be some meth, more boost a few modifications and hopefully anti lag all in search of more power!

Thanks! Took her out for her first run at the track on the 1/4 mile and had my A$$ handed to me to embarrassed to even post times but it was the first run in the car and the 18's with Kuhmo Ecsta's weren't hooking up, and I could not get the strip Tech to understand that it was a fwd so he kept making me drive through the burnout box. But I still have my goals so I have learned a few things
A. I gotta get better at running on the track
B. I need more horsepower about 200+ more 550whp should do it this will come with the next rebuild. Addressing the horsepower will take some time and money. I am off to a good start though; getting the first tune knocked out helps. I have also since acquired the correct AEM 3.5 bar map sensor, got the meth injection ready for to be used for the next tune, grabbed another SPAL fan, started the process of wrapping the turbos to keep the temps down and begun re-designing the intake manifold to house nearly twice as much total volume in the plenum.
Here is a sneak peak of the mock up which has since been revised a bit

Here is a stock one for comparison, I gutted all the inside stuff (VIS separation chambers) and bowled it out a bit, it gets shipped out for welding tomorrow.

The cost will come with the forged pistons and the re-tune. On a side note I am not dissatisfied with my custom work on the intake manifold but I may do the next build and tune with the TII manifold since it will flow more air.
C. Traction and setting up the car for the track. Part of this problem I am in the process of solving picked up a set of 24.5x8.5x15 MH slicks and a set of 15x7 Rota slipstreams which have not arrived yet.
No clue of what happened to this pic was fine before, I will take better ones once the rims come in.

Got the slicks mounted and balanced was a total weight reduction of 24.4 lbs of rotational mass and obviously a lot more grip. I know this will help my 60ft time.

this is one of the most innovative boost builds i have ever seen. Very impressed with the fab skills and interested to see final results on the intake fabbing. its really too bad that Hondata doesnt make a tuning implement for this engine, makes such a massive difference over other ems setups. in for future vids/results

Thanks. I will be sure to post results once it is in. At the same time I plan to put the 3.5 bar map sensor in and tune for more psi.

looks like forged pistons are next on the list.
