Intercooler piping was one of those kits for i dunno 50-60 bucks maybe on sale.

Well honestly the car sees maybe 2-3000 miles a year tops so maybe I will put the screen back on and if for whatever reason I'm going someplace dusty I can put this filter in (mobbing on long beach haha)

The thing feels slow and runs pig rich... It needs a tune before I blow it up I'm in the NW (everett/mill creek area) Anyone willing?

I got to tune the car the other night and its running MUCH better. The idle is great and it truly has zero hiccups. Dave really knows his ---- and it was worth the loud *** hour or so drive with no exhaust/interior/heater! Boost pressure (despite the gauge telling me otherwise) was falling off above 5k from 8.5psi to 6.5ish... And it really felt like it was running out of steam. So today, per daves recomendation, I moved the wg pressure signal to the intake manifold (instead of the compressor housing) and now the turbo holds strong up to redline just like it should. It feels like a whole new car! I think a dyno day would be a good excuse to put it on the rollers but in the meantime I'm gonna find some exhaust so my ears will stop ringing

Sittin next to the 1g, which may being going back to the old owner, not sure what the plan is quite yet

Oh yeah, that 4runner was 1200 bucks! Blown hg though

There is one thing happening, and we didnt quite know what it was. When under high load, very rarely, the engine will sort of "pop" like it hit an ignition cut or overboost... After letting off the gas for a split second the car will run normally. I dont think the spark is blowing out because that should be more consistant. Anyone have any ideas? If it does happen it happens around 4-5.5k under full boost (only happened once in the last couple days)
