I laugh at the people scared about the oil drain. I made an AC adapter for the HF that swung the turbo around, down, and out. My line dropped no more than 1" from flange to oil pan, and it never smoked.

BTw the sedan is cool. Only think I loath on those cars is obd0 vacuum advance and the rear suspension. Otherwise it always reminds me of GTA:Vice City from the crx in it.

Just open dp.. It idles fairly quietly but yeah if I get on it it hurts my ears so it needs some sort of muffler

This is good to hear about the drain! 88-89 teg wiring to get rid of vacuum advance.. But the straight axle.. Yeah it has to stay lol.

I put a lighter to the screen (window screen) and it didnt burn or anything so Im guessing itll be ok. Its still on, but it needs a real filter. Might suck it up and order a small filter from k&n (they have really good diagrams of every filter and sizing on their website)

Well I got a transmission off craigslist for 65 bucks and I'm hoping the burnouts were what led to the diff failure... I was thinking about using Honda MTF because its good stuff, but maybe I should use 10-40 motor oil because this new tranny has pretty high mileage (150k) Anyone know what to use to help the diff live longer?

Yeah I got a 1g crx shell here now... I was gonna put a motor/trans in it but its going back to the previous owner to be a track only car.

Anyways I put a K&N filter on it and its kind of small but these filters flow pretty well. It almost feels like I got a loss of power but I cant imagine it restricting air flow enough to really limit me. My only guess is it might be running richer now and I'm losing power that way... Anyone have any ideas?

any filter is going to hurt your power compared to just a screen. i ran just a screen for a long time with no troubles
