The upcomming MW project is going to be a purple car. We will have to race it purple at least to start the summer season, then we can consider paint.

lol, the wg is a spring from a timing belt tensioner, and a piece of chain that came off an old screen door we jut took down. the thing about it is, all he has to do is hook the spring in to a different link on the chain to either lower or raise boost yeah, after frank grinded a hole in his block and the actuator still wasn't clearing, he started grinding some more i was like 'let's just use a spring, i would have mentioned it earlier, but i thought you really wanted the actuator', so i feel kind of bad for not mentioning it before he decided to look in the crank case, the hard way :P

 

This is a classic thing to right to jb weld like they have on the prdouct description area. LOL hmt never amazes me just to funny

 

lol, the way i see it, whatever it takes, or whatever it looks like, if you get your boost gauge to cross over the threshold of '0 in/hg', you have succeeded in making boost, and that's all that matters ----, franks car was actually running really, really good, it wouldn't start at first, but i think i tightened the fuel feed too tight restricting flow, b/c i loosened it to make sure fuel was getting to the fuel rail, and didn't tighten it down as much and the car started right up. got a few minor bugs to work out, and i say we'll be raising the boost to at least 8 psi, i'll just put boost cut on uber at like 10 in case he gets brave one night

 

boost is so ------- awesome. i think the chain moved a little or something because last night on the way home, it was solid 6psi into 3rd gear (till the clutch let go)

from the stop, the cluch holds 100%, once I lay into it from even 10mph, the tach burries and you can smell clutch over the exhaust

its really ------- bad *** though. launch control is soo sexy. there was an ITR sittin at the stoplight, so i give him a little *ricer vroom* and he looks at me rolling his eyes. LOL, when i t was time for us to go, launch control, dump, and gone. he didnt even know what the ---- hit him. next stoplight, "holy ---- man, i woulda never known" -yea ******.


clutch should be here by next weekend.
