Gangster. It's a pretty high dollar build, but it's Homemade for sure and it's on a Kia, so that's even cooler.

i street tuned a civic a few days ago with a dash that would make yours look stock. it was 100% carbon fiber. the carbon fiber was dyed blue and it had all kind of blue paint on it.

the whole car was a rice mobile. everything under the hood was chrome. EVERYTHING. and it had a chrome jackson supercharger

Oh ---- off, honda owners can't ---- on this guy for builiding a kia. Pot kettle black, seriously a honda civic isnt any more deserving of performance than a kia. Nice build but I could do without the showcar bs.

But i take it you were on the rag when responding , and i'll look past your lack of humor.

Fact is he gets all the more props becuase i'm sure the aftermarket support to support a lot of HP on a KIA is very slim. I for one can't wait to see the fab work and the finished product.

Thanks. my car ran a high 14's @ 97mph with no tune and a broken MAF sensor before I pulled it off the road for this build. With the right mods and platform, it has as much potential as any other car. The older sephia's and older version of the 1.8L T8D were definitely slower. This is the only Kia I actually liked the look of or would have bought. even today. The T8D is Mazda based, same with the trans. I am working on confirming the rumor if the Mazdaspeed Protoge LSD fits with little to no modification. I know I'll need one down the road eventually.

HP number are unknown as far as power per PSI. This is the first build of its kind with this engine, let alone a kia. First forged rods ever made. The rods can handle over 300whp all day, but since I have the rods, might as well throw them in with the pistons.

The only interior pieces that will be left will be the upper dash and part of the center console, and possibly the front door skins. everything else is out. The black/white theme will still be carried out as it is. It's clean and just because it is a drag/street car, does not mean the interior can't look any less appealing.
