Which way does this Kia motor spin? Is it the right "wrong" way or the wrong "right" way like everything else?

Sick build. I got a BP 1.8 out of a 96 Sephia as a spare engine to build for my miata. I must admit, though the newer engines Kia made are different, they look DAMN similar. I've heard the lifters are the same. Sweet build though.

I definetly enjoyed reading this thread and the level of fabrication. Keep up the good work! If you ever want some aftermarket polyurethane motor mounts for that Kia Hit me up we could probably make you some.

^ Thanks for the offer. I have been running 4 solid nylon mounts I fabbed up for over a year and are excellent. One step below have 4 solid steel mounts, so no movement here. I love it, but not everyone enjoys solid mounts lol

It's been a long time since I updated this project. I was not able to touch it for over 3 months due to buying a house and setting up the new workshop. But progress is finally being made weekly as of this month.

that's all for now. this should be a weekly update now. But still a ton of work to do...
