im using a tube that LOOKS like its from the mani, but tomorow ill get a tee and use one that i know is a vacuum line for sure. also, i loosened the deal on the top of the bov, hopfully that might be the problem too.
my water/air intercooler setup is finished, but i think my 10$ ebay pump is ---- and it started smoking and broke w/in 1 minute, lollol http://i45.tinypic.com/24n2sus.jpg how i did it, there is a water circuit from the radiator bucket through a motorcycle radiator mounted on my main one, through the intercooler and back into the radiator bucket deal. |
oh on the intercooler, no leaks when i blow into it as hard as i can, lol idk how much boost my lungs make though. and i took it out the other day, it stalled a couple times, but boost is GOOD, even 4 psi..... damn

I still don't like your IC. No offense, just my opinion. A junkyard smic put up front would be better than what you have. 150+ degree water isn't pulling much heat out.
|
150 degree? its not water from the radiator, its just using the same container the radiator uses to suck in air.

yeah i have a radiator from a kawasaki ninja im running it through, lol we had a communication error, here is final product, 600gph pump from academy 20 bucks, ran the electricity to the signal cable for my amp so pump turns off when keys are out.
radiator is at bottom, behind engine radiator, i want to eventually put it in front, but i had some brackets i made aready so, w/e we will see how it goes http://i46.tinypic.com/bi9xtc.jpg |
Lol. Jacked your mom's Tupperware, huh? HMT ---- right there. Should be ok then. Take a temp reading of that water after some hard runs, just to know how hot it gets.
|
lol yeah @ pr0 tupperware. yeah i neeed a thermometer, i ran it a big tonight and it was deff cooler than w/o it, but it was only about 15 minutes, oh and that ------- Ultra Copper my dad told me i could use on the silicon blew a hole, about the size of a 1/4 of a dime... im going to fill it back in, and then either get it welded/brazed, i only have arc welder, and couldnt get it hot enough to braze, (doing its intercooler job, lol) or just getting the economy pack of JB Weld and slap that ---- on, any suggestions? how much would it cost to get welded professionally?? thanks
|
Welding aluminum takes some skill, so most who do it charge a bit. You should be able to JB that ----. Besides, you'll get more props here for JB than pretty TIG welds. ;)
Find a food thermometer (or jack your mom's), and put it through the lid so you have an easy to read thermo-meter. |
okay, i was driving home and i was like, damn wtf is my bov opening for when my throtle is down... turned out, it was just a blow off. no valve.. lol
