Re:2000gsr with revhard kit, problem, help me out
i cleaned it off and tried again but it still wouldnt start.
then i put a screwdriver in the spark plug wire and put it close to a piece of metal on the frame and cranked it(without the spark plugs in) and it barely BARELY bridge the tiny gap that i held inbetween the metal on the screwdriver and the metal on the frame. im thinking it is the coil after all

try to replace the rotor first seing as how it's much cheaper, i have a friend that had the exact same problem the other day and we cleaned the rotor and it still didn't work so i assumed it was the coil, he went and bought a coil, and it was the same thing, so he bought a rotor and put it in and it started right up (with the old coil, we took the new one out so he could return it).

Thats kind of strange all you did was install a turbokit and it wont start. If you didnt touch the spark/fuel system it should start up just like normal no problems. Is the fuel pump turning on? It's possible it has a bad coil or ignitor, But on a 2000 gsr? wow, obd2 distributors dont have nearly as many problems as obd1 and 0's. I highly doubt replacing the cap and rotor will do anything for you unless they are just so full of carbon. For some reason I think the engine is just realy flooded out. Take out the plugs, Clean them out real good, dissconnect the injectors and try to fire it over with the plugs out, this gets alot of the fuel out of the cylinders, re-install everything and try again.

nah i got the same impression jeff did.. car running fine, installed revhard kit, now wont start.
my guess is too much pressure from the inline pump.. take it out and try to start it, just dont boost!

yeah the car was running fine, tried to start it after i put the kit on, wont start, ive cranked it without the plugs in and then put plugs in and tried to start it and it still wont start. Ive tried to start it without the feul pump on and it STILL will not start, i dont know wtf is wrong.
oh NM i didnt take the injectors out, im going to take the plugs out today and leave them out hopefully that'll let the feul dry up if it is flooded

you don't have to take the injectors out, just unplug the clips or pull the fi fuse. and take the plugs out also and turn it over a few times, this will spit the fuel out of the holes, there's no need to let it sit, just turn it over a few times, reinstall plugs and injector clips and try her then.
