2 dump or not 2 dump...

Re-route that ----. It's cleaner, quieter, and in many cases it's easier. Whatever tiny power loss you'll experience can be negated by cranking your MBC an infinitesimal amount tighter. If you were after the ultimate, no-holds-barred, no-expense-spared, world-beating powerhouse of a motor, you wouldn't be on HomeMadeTurbo.com anyway. ---- it.

Now on a RACE car its different, open definitely for that extra power but not on a street car.

Great thread. I say if your pipe has a decent diameter and its cost efficient and convenient to put it into the exhaust then do it. You will definitely lose sleeper status with open dump. Trust me on that. If it doesent matter and a little more noise doesent bother you then open dump it. You will know pretty quickly if it gets on your nerves or not. I had one open and it was fine with me. But im used to no carpeting no cat kinda ---- anyways..
