2 dump or not 2 dump...

Re: 2 dump or not 2 dump...
open dump will make more power if you have a restrictive exhaust/downpipe, then it cant handle the extra gas efficiency
just be carefull where you dump it since theres no oxygen in that gas, you could in theory suffocate your engine (more likely on a dyno but still applicable to real world since people often tune their car on a dyno) if you dump far enough away and have sufficient engine bay airflow.

I had planned on venting to the atmosphere, I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't goin' to cause any problems...I didn't know that dumpin' to the atmosphere could actually give you a lil bit of gain in hp...as far as sound goes, I enjoy scaring tha $hit out of old peple

If you want to sound like a ------- John Deere tractor at WOT then vent it, if you want to have your turbo and bov be the dominant sounds then plumb it back into the exhaust. I ran an open wg on my Eclipse and it is so obnoxious. It's loud and sounds like you have a boosted Murray lawnmower under your hood, not to mention the black soot that accompanies dumping to the atmosphere. It's way better recirculated IMO.
