2 bar map sensor not working? wiring maybe!
hey,
ive recently completed my turbo project, now ive got my self a 2 bar map sensor from www.VPW.com.au
the plugs are diffrent, (groves) same sized plug... now with the 2 bar sensor in it starts then revs up/down then stalls, it wont rev at all... put the 1 bar back in and its fine
anyone got the part numbers of the 2bar sensor?? or know if the wiring maybe diffrent? (ie swapping plugs round)
has anyone had this issue??
and yes it is running a 2 bar tune

Depends on the sensor sometimes. I know the GM 3bar sucks *** when it tried reading vacuum, which means you have to retune all of the partial-throttle map.
Your best bet is to get someone to send you a motorola/freescale 2.5bar sensor, which has the best linear rate for almost any sensor. And its only $15 for us in the states.

I'm sure someone here could get you one for a good deal. I already have buyers for mine for more than others here would probably let theirs go.
Go to freescale.com and type in MPX4250AP, then you'll see a button that lists distributors. Some may ship them your way. I know I got a small package from Oz, it wasn't too much and I got it fairly quick.
