all awd dsms came with an lsd in the back. you want the 92+ rear end because its a 4 bolt not a 3 bolt from the 90-91's.

as for the ecu its behind the radio. any dsm ecu goes for a good amount. especially if its a 90 awd 5spd eprom ecu, i got $250 for mine.

 

your wrong, because my 90 tsi does not have lsd. i had to buy an axle from a 93 to get it.
