Ok, I have access to a 1G Talon parts car (as indicated by the title) and I pulled the turbo assembly, intercooler, and injectors off. Is there anything else I can use from it to make my project easier/cheaper? I have a 94 Civic Ex (D16Z6).

if it's a 5 spd with an eprom it will net you about $100 on ebay. But it sounds like you got everything.

 

is the motor fucked up? If it isnt to bady screwed up those DSM boys are always looking for another one, exspecialy if yours is a 6 bolt

Right on. I will get the bov. I'm not gonna go through pulling the motor but I will get the head and the ecu. Where is the ecu in those things? Is the exhaust mani of any use to me?

I believe on those the ecu's underneath the center console section, behind and below the radio. Not 100% though, that's just where it was on the last old-school eclipse i worked on.

 

exhaust manifold is of use to you. people with H23's and F22 motors use them. Also the engine harness is an easy thing to take off, so you should take that too. ALSO (make some big $$) if it is a 93 TSI, take the rear end. it is the only year they put out the posi rear, its hard to find I have one, trust me it was a bitch to find and i paid 350 bux for it.
