Tire smoke smells delicious. Clutch smoke makes me puke.

Thumbs up Shurflow pump

Hi qsiguy, I went through the whole build and its very informative. What model shurflo 8000 series pump did you use? Like I went to the shurflo site and noticed that they have 6 more digits after the 8000......
Thanks a bunch.

SHURflo model 8000-643-236. It's worked pretty well so far. Only complaint is minor leaking around the head. I have tightened it up a few times. Not a big deal but I may upgrade to a purpose build scavenge pump some day. Been in service for almost 2 years.

This car will probably be under some sort of construction for a long time. It's my toy. Main things I'll be working on soon are the wiring inside the car (currently have ECU and wideband controller wires running all over), proper mount/enclosure for oil pump in the trunk, stereo system, and I'd like to change the gauges a bit and add a few. Of course I'm always tuning the car here and there. I change the tune from winter to summer which is simple with the real time emulator I'm using. Some day I'd like to get some dyno time and tune it right and see what it will really do.

Thanks for the compliments.

whatrpm are you hitting full boost? at 8psi?

im planing on using this same turbo for my 3v single turbo mustang build up. also here did you get your pump and lines from? what kind of oil pump is it?

i have long tube headers so im going to merger them to the t70. im making 315rwhp now. so im hoping for close to 500rwhp/trq ill post it up on here once i start. i've done numerous turbo setups but never a remote one. thanks for your time.
