Beats the heck out of swapping EPROM chips. When the weather cools off again in a couple months I will get the dyno done and see what numbers this thing is making.
You definitely did a great job on your turbo project. I've been following you when you first started and it has been entertaining. I'm work'n on my own Nissan project and one of the biggest obstacles I know I will have to deal with is the programming/tuning as it is a newer vehicle. I'm interested to see your power numbers as I think it should be similar to what my vk56 will but out once it is all said and done.

Again good job!

One of the cleanest and most original builds ever.
Waiting to see some videos of you raping evo's off the line and roll. That would be some sick ---- man.

You are going to like the Moates gear. It's super robust and reliable, and lasts a lifetime.

I've been fighting my Ostrich since I got it in April. First it came vendor-locked, which took forever to figure out wtf was up with it. Luckly I found some obscure post about TunerPro being able to reinitialize it. Then I finally get my backup license for Crome Pro (the Ostrich was the reason I lost my original reg key, as I thought it was my WinXP install locking it) and I find out the ------- thing is sending ZERO signals through the cable. Long story short, I'm taking full advantage of their 30day return policy - I bought another, and I'm returning this in its place. That, or I'm issuing a chargeback.

Never, ever, ever, have I had such a rough time with hardware. I seriously thought about stealing a CC to pay for this to rip them off, I was so ------- pissed. ********** needs to test his stuff before it ships, period.

I had some trouble getting the Ostrich to communicate as well at first. It turns out I needed their socket booster. As soon as I plugged that in the thing fired right up and has worked flawlessly ever since. You might want to consider checking into that option.

HiProfile has limited experience or understanding, $5 says he had port settings all wrong. Choosing too high or too low a baud rate will cause the problem he describes.

Also, don't confuse what eCtune does with what the Moates gear does. Install S or K Manager on some computers and it takes an act of god to get Moates gear to work again without a reformat - $10 says Doug made their FTDI drivers do that on purpose.

I thought the ****** was front wheel drive this whole time, never even noticed the pumpkin and half shafts in any of the pictures. Once I seen the intake I guess my brain just ignored the rearend.

Rocks even more now that I know it's right wheel drive

Haha... BYU Creamery bucket?

Nice build! I have a special place in my heart for rear mounted setups.
