I wouldnt even try,,, I would just make sure I weld a support beam/rod to the turbo/manifold for extra support especially being that it is the xspower/ssautoshit mani, they tend to break loose on the welds.

I guess you are using the stock pistons.Ive heard the ringlands take a ---- at 10psi.but Ive only read it on honda tech so.It's not a fact or anything.
Awesome, good luck with everything. We're going to be building up another block with forged pistons and rods

Ehh... that doesn't sound like a good solution either lol

Yeah, I told him, but he's leaving it as-is. I'll try to get him to do something else though.

ever thought about cutting a slot in the flange big enough to be able to slide the bolt into and bolt it in rather than using a stud?

the turbo project looks like its comin along quite well. my court hearing is in about a week n a half...then my car will be off the road...and ill have an extra $200 a month to dick around with cause i wont have to pay insurance...i already found the setup i want for my car, $900 on egay for the entire turbo kit (intercooler, charge piping, t3/t4 hybrid turbo, etc...), n thats about $4000 less than wut i would pay through truck-n-stuff for all the same ----.

Hey Sinister do you happen to know like the specific name or model for the SSAutoChrome DSM turbo manifold, and
SSAutoChrome 16g Turbo I would like to build a similar kit. Thanx

Looks good. Really want to see how that turbo holds up. My friend just bought a 2g gs-t for $800. The guy thought it had a blown engine, but it ended up being a blown turbo. Pulled the turbo and made a header for it. Runs perfect. He's looking for a replacement turbo for cheap, preferably new. This just might be the ticket.

I wish it was me I never get deals like that. It's my friend's car. I tried to buy it from him, but he's not selling it now that it's running so well.

they like to give out at 10 to 11 psi is the most I ever hit on a base map lasted for about 1000miles, the second engine lets not talk about that. Sinister it looks great, its the ultimate ebay build, do you want a 1g bov? or what do you plan on running, I say go ebay style since thats where he bought everything else
