will a nut fit between the flange / runner if there is not stud there? try holding a nut in place while putting the manifold on and thread it down as u go.

That's what I told Chris, but he showed me that when you would try to do that, the area between the runner and the bolt gets conflicted and it doesnt sit flush... gay

Press really hard on the manifold and tack weld it to the stud
