1993 Honda Accord LX Turbo Project (that went bunk)
This is my cousin Chris's 1993 Honda Accord LX that we're turboing.. I'll post up more pics later and such and update it regularly.
Specs:
F22A1 (internally stock) 145k
SSAutoChrome DSM turbo manifold
SSAutoChrome Big 16g Turbo
TCC Work BOV
450CC DSM Injectors
2.5" I/O high flow cat
2.5" cat-back exhaust
2.5" I/ 4.5" O Vibrant performance muffler
2.5" "Chrome" Charge Piping
Here's the car as it sits (looks wise) and how it was NA
This is it so far but we're ordering charge piping, a BOV, an intercooler and DSM 450's later this week enjoy the pics

First off, some good ole' fashion fun with a junk RX7 (Warning: Kain will cry)
Owned.
Chris's Header removed (also the bumper and bumper support were removed at this point as well)
Who needs a toolbox.. phh... :1
Goodbye NA!
Mmm metal tastes sooo good
Bill grindin some oil off (it was on there thick)
Grinding through the head flange to make the DSM work for the Accord
Bumper before I had my way with it
After (A fatty FMIC would fit in there great.. currently trying to convince him into buying a CCA intercooler)
Manifold kinda-sorta on :P
Chris called me a bit ago and said he got everything done so the manifold sits flush to the head like its supposed to... tomorrow we'll probably throw the turbo on and wait for parts to arrive
Update:
Turbo/Manifold/"downpipe" on
And in this next picture you can see the major flaw in the manifold's design...
Explain to me how to get a bolt onto there
Also, instead of a Stealthmode oil line kit Chris went to Home Depot and built his own kit for ~$15, also is doing all the coolant lines himself... next we should be buying the BOV (He's looking at GReddy knock offs), a fatty FMIC and some piping
Got the 2.5" piping Jan 31st
Here's Chris and I getting an idea of how we're gonna run charge piping/his boost gauge...
<-- $23
Got the intercooler Feb 11th (Noel would like this pic.. lol) Retarded cat had to make a stupid face of course :P
Some crappy cell phone pics of the intercooler on
TCC Work BOV:
Injectors:
On March 12th-13th Chris and I were trying to figure out how the heck we were going to do the piping from the J-pipe to the existing intercooler piping..
The J-pipe was big and pointing in the opposite direction of what we needed
Well, I brainstormed, and after a short run to Home Depot we got what we needed:
Chris chopped down the J-pipe to nothing, I put a HD bend on it, then used another part of the j-pipe to bend some more, used part of the turbo rubber piping from the Probe Turbo to connect that to even another piece of the j-pipe, then used a transition coupler from that small pipe to the 2.5" pipe, then that 2.5" pipe connects to the rest Finally got done right around 3 A.M. after all the parts running
And a better shot of the Intercooler mounted

Your probually going to have to notch the block since your running a dsm mani and turbo, I hope you get a p06 cause you can't run uberdata on the stock ecu, also the kid looks fat you should make him walk to the hardware store to get alll the extra parts he needs it.

For the record, this is the owner of the car (Chris) and my asian lookin butt on the right
And don't worry, I only owned that gas guzzler for about a month, that was back about 14 months ago or so.
