hes using lt1 edit. it plugs into the OBD2 port on the truck. its not quite the same as hondas but it does use the factory ECU because they are reflashable stock. it also costs $400+ for the program and its vin specific. in other words it cant be used on anything other than the ECU it was built for.

hes comming down today with a list from moser of the measurements he needs for them to build the axles and then as soon as he gets the axles in hell be ready. i doubt they want tires with axles attached to them flying around the shop. :P

12 bolt won't really last longer than a 10bolt when power that exceeds the 10bolt ability.

i see it all the time around here, and i don't know why.

but i know first hand, that toyota axles are the same size if not larger (in regards to diam) than those of a ford 9"

yeap thats why all the dragsters put shitty toyota rear ends in their cars.

those toyota truck rear ends are garbage and they grenade all the time.

a 12bolt will hold all the power a stock turbo lt1 can make.

my dads camaro has a 12 bolt rear end and has 550+ ft lbs of torque. hasn't grenaded yet, but several muncie 4 speeds have, and a bent driveshaft.

he mentioned a rearend from camaro but said its the same width as a 4WD S10 and that he would need some different offset wheels to use it and have it look normal.
