You ever try working on any sbc swapped s-10? 2 words...too cramped. There is barely enough room to fit the motor in there as it is. Plus a custom head set is usually required just for upper control arm and steering shaft clearance. And Junkyard Racer is def. right about the rear...he's gonna need a ford 9" and a 4 link suspension to try and keep that *** end together. If it's the stock gm 12 bolt w/drums, have someone follow with a video camera the first time he gets on it really hard to shoot the carnage of c-clips popping off and axles flying right out the rear

hes already popped 3 sets of axles n/a

remote mount was the only option. hes using a master power t70 and there is no way youd make a mani draweign from both banks and stuffing dp, i/c piping and ---- in the bay. rather than remote mounting it under the bed near the frame rail, where the weather and ---- would hit it we decided to make a set of mounts for the setup in the bed. pics and ---- tomorrow when its done.

so hes on a stock rear end still. say good bye. a case of beer says that the rear end will say bye bye to the leaf springs.
paypal ready.

another friend of mine built a s-10, 350, laid down a little under 400hp, and he had to be trailered home. -it all fried. just giveing you a heads up. I don't think I would drive it without the rear end.

The rear in this truck is already fucked and he knows that. He plans on upgrading it anyway.

we alreayd know the stock rear sucks. hes not doing any rippers on it till he upgrades. for the time being hes going to be getting some custom moser axles with c-clip elim. and he has a posi 373 diff for the rear.

good choice, but too much torque for a light truck and high ratio, excess spin. i've got the rearend out of a f150, with 3.31 gears or some ----, did 2 grand at 65 in .75:1 overdrive, on 235/75/15 tires

if either of you happen to be interested.

hotrex ill trade you my axle for your hf mig, its worth more and is in working condition
