Default Sheet metal intake manifold, what thickness material you nogs use?

I got a ---- ton of .040 aluminum for free but that seems way to thin.. thinking of getting some .080

Just curious on the consensus.

thinner will mean less resistance to vibration and heat soak

i have been using .125 seems to be working find. .08 i wouldnt see as being substantial enough and deffinetly not .04

depends on how much boost you want to run... i'd go with .125" my last manifold was .187"
