Made some sheet metal valve covers
This is just a little project I did to work on my tig aluminum skills, and working with aluminum..
I made the jig off of the factory valve covers. used .063 sheet aluminum for the covers, and 1/4" 6061 for the flange which I hand made. (took forever)
I think I feel confident enough to to move onto making intercoolers. When I set the valve cover on the jig for final welding, I somehow moved it over about 1/4", so the tubes are no in line, and I had to fill a huge gap on one of the ends, so im not going to use this set. It was a pain in the *** to weld anyways, Next time Im going to curve in the ends, so that I dont have any sharp edges to weld together.
Questions, comments, and criticism welcome!

I thought about stainless, but it would be impossible not to warp them trying to weld. It would probally look like a golden plastic bag by time all the welds were finished.
