This is how grownups make flanges



It's a CNC jetmachining center, cuts through any material, any thickness and very precise, clean cuts. It uses a mix of water and granite powder to cut.

Holy ----. Got my brick today, the ****** is SOLID! Going to have to get creative. ---- weighs as much as my turbo and I couldnt scratch it with a ------- dremel. Hahahaha! :P

 

good luck. you may want to make th initial hole with an oxy torch. then use a fat bastard bit to widen it.

 

Made my paper flange things... took a lot longer then expected...this ---- aint easy, and my drill bits barely scratch this ----...sigh.

 

Uh oh, just had a thought...do I need to make the hole on the DP side the size of the hole thing (all 5 bolts surround the hole) or make it the circle where the turbine is and leave the metal plate over the rest? It's internally wastegated, will there be enough room for the wastegate gasses to go through the little moon cut in the wall between the wheel and the flapper?
