Default Making flanges

So I'll have to make my own flanges for my turbo, bmc and wier havent responded to my pms and other online c&c and whatever sites are ---- ton expensive.
Should I use SS? And how thick should it be? I am sure I can cut it to approxiamtely the right shape and then drill holes where I need them and then take a million hours to dremel in the right shaped port. I have no $$ but lots of time, so I'll probably do that. Anyone make their own flanges?

Should at least be 3/8 of an inch. I just used mild steel plate.

Use mild steel not stainless. You're going to ---- yourself in the *** if you try to dremel 3/8" thick steel.
Draw the entire flange out on your steel, then take it to your local fab shop with a plasma cutter or even oxy/acetalyne torch and have them cut the flange out for you. It would take them 10 minutes and probably cost you $20. Then just grab a drill and drill out those holes yourself.
