I knew some old school TR6 and Spit guys that were replacing the rubber bits with aluminum turned off on one guy's lathe. Pretty cheap, and a better coef of friction against the steel LCA.

the inner joint had to much slide play could have shimmed it but ---- it.

With more than 450whp on tap, there is no excuse for running slow 10's.

MONO ball style bearing. You must make a insert like you already did, but make it the size of the mono ball plus cut groves for a snap ring. Then make two spacers for centering and bolting it down.

450 whp horsepower=no need to be welding up control arms-breaking axles is not good, but breaking off corners is good either.
