In the case of flanges you are taking $1 material and selling it after machine work for $25+
In the case of a manifold/dp/dt you are taking 250-300$ of material and selling it for $560

If I was to go about not taking money till I had gotten the items done I would never be anywhere as I dont have the money to shell into trust on someone I dont know at all....

I only make some standard Honda manis now once in a while. I have a local shop that keeps me too busy building all sorts of ----. Anywho. I only take money now when the mani is ready to be shipped. I make Mini Ram and Ram horns only now. So if someone backs out its no biggie.

I run a car shop that the average bill is about 10-20 grand. We can't float 10 cars without any money down. So we get half down and the other half when the car leaves. On huge projects 200,000 plus we get paid month to month. Just an idea for you guys running shops of all sizes.
