Why is it when someone makes a thread about a "shop," they get a bunch of bs because they made a thread about it. And now he's a bad customer or he's the type of person you don't like to deal it. If you were told it would take a month and its been 2 and a half, how would you feel? Customers can yell at businesses because we pay them to do ---- for us. Not the other way around lol. And the only reason why they are in business is because of the customers, don't act like a retard and sway potential customers away.

Gotta chime in here... A job is a job, $20 or $20,000. Just because some high roller comes swinging pocket books at you doesn't mean you can just ---- the little guy because his order wasn't big enough.

chill out. might have been a little too long of a wait but the fact of the matter is. ON HT he had a 10 person buy in, so theres 10 complete setups rite there. For someone working all day every day, that wouldn't be an issue. But he was waiting on parts, AND he only gets 1 full day a week to work on manifolds now sense he works at a shop now an hour from where his dads shop is.I am waiting on a combo too, but i know it will come soon, he just is goign to get all the orders done then get out becuase he got a new job.

I don't really see how the customer is in the wrong. I would be PISSED if I had to wait that long for something was expecting and paid for 2.5 months prior. Anybody who says they wouldn't be pissed is full of ----. I've never had to wait that long for ANYTHING unless the seller just fucked me over and was never planning on sending it in the first place, which is what I would have to assume was going on after that long. :l

Welcome to custom work, guys. You are all correct in your summation that the wait is unacceptable... but I don't think I've ever heard of a company selling custom manifolds that didn't lag like hell, from Full-Rice on down to Hotslice.

If I were in Bizzar's shoes I wouldn't be the least bit worried, but I also would have told the guy buying the manifold through me that it always takes longer than you're told, be prepared for a wait, and don't ------- bother me with whiny-whiny little girl complaints. You ask me, the lack of perspective and communication is on his end, too, he's been around for enough years now to know exactly how the custom manifold market plays out.

Re: JG-Fab customer review.

i think the main problem is accepting people's money before you have something to ship them. way back when i was making flanges i'd get requets all at once and i never took anyone's money until i had something to ship to them. sure, i lost a customer here or there because they went somewhere else for what they needed but alteast they went away not pissed at me for taking their money- and if i was stuck with a flange they requested, well i was never stuck with it for very long because someone else was asking for the same thing a week later. now i have industrial customers so i have terms like net 30 days... so i have to wait 30 days before i get paid for a job i did for them! i need to watch my cash flow carefully all the time.

I wasnt expecting a fast turnaround. I figured 5 maybe 6 weeks tops. This isnt some crazy ass top mount twin turbo custom ---- here fellas. Its a god damn log manifold with a dump! I made my own manifold in a single day start to finish using a hacksaw, drill press with a holesaw and a mig. 2 more days for the downpipe, dumptube, full exhaust and charge piping AFTER my normal day job from 6pm-1am. When you care, you work hard to get ---- done.
