The nice young German boy is pretty certain he has a 1G-FE, 2.0 liter inline 6.

It's really the same principal. You just have make it longer and run 2 more runners. Go buy some aluminum and get on with making it.

I really will help you with your English if you would like. Right now it's pretty obvious that you've picked most of it up hanging out on Youtube.

Also, this might be a stretch, but have you checked in to see if any of the old 1g-gze 1g-gte or 1g-ge manifolds fit on the 2g-fe head?

Nein. Hotrex hat Geld genommen, dann er nichts abshicken hat.

You should try to find a flange. Contact Wier on here and see if you can send him gaskets to make a headflange and an exhaust flange. If you do that though, make sure to order everything at once. His prices are cheep but the international shipping almost doubles it.

Yeah.. My German needs a lot of practice but you don't get a huge opportunity to do that in Ohio. Reading out of a text book then doing homework only works so far.

Perfect is sort of a subjective term. It depends on where you're looking to have power at. Honestly, you might want to try to sort of base your manifold off of the 1g-g(t)e manifold. Make your runners similar in length and diameter. Running short, high volume ( large diameter ) runners is going to kill your low end torque, like JD said. Make your plenum about the same size. It will flow a lot more than that stock intake manifold you have, but it shouldn't be overkill for your engine. Especially since the G intake manifolds were sort of moderately conservative. Since the 1g's were TVIS engines and have 2 runners per port, you would want to get a tube with a diameter that's smaller than the combined diameter of the two runners on the TVIS engine since one single pipe equaling the sum of the diameter of two smaller pipes is going to flow more air due to the lessened surface tension. If you're not planning on getting cams you may want to go smaller still.
