Default Howto calculate an Intake Mani

Iam thinking about to build my own Intake mani. The reason is the OEM one is eco ---- and only good to drive slow and save gas





ive some links howto build a mani but not mani that say how its calculated :1

General rule of thumb is ake the plenum size 1.5 times the swept displacement. Two liter engine = three liter plenum.

I would base the ports off of the stock manifold. Making them a little shorter biases powerband upward. Making them bigger around raises the choke point of airflow. Make your changes small to modest is my best recommendation, you can make the car a real dog if you aren't careful.

Anything that comes with a crappy IM usually comes with crappy cam(s). Plan accordingly.

Oh yes crappy camīs is involved too
actualy the whole head is full of ----

but there is no replacement so i go on to tray my best with PNP and a custom Intake Mani + a nice set of headers

3liters? hmmm ok must i follow a special design like taper the plenum?

its an inline 6

i think i go the lazy way with ibs + plenum and call it skyline style

why is designing a intake mani not so easy like an Exhaust mani

i hate this head design look at the injector position

maximum boost is a good book but corky bell is too biased and its outdated

what kind of car is that? when i saw the manifold i thought BMW, but now that i see the car i dont think so.

also, that front rim is bent to ----
