NG30 PM6 Basemap - already read the howto
Ok guys,
im trying to make a basemap for pm6. So far using the excel basemap helper, and copying values from the same vacuum colums, i have came up with a nearly complete basemap. However, the basemap excel ------sheet gives me 0.00 in some colums, leaving me with some gaps in my fuel and ignition maps. I am attaching a link to the bin ive gotten done so far.. any help at filling in the rest is GREATLY appreciated!
I originally just imported the maps and burned the rom, but my car is running pig *** rich and runs like crap right now. I want to get the n/a basemap down before i install all my turbo parts here in a week or two!
I only need fuel and ignition values for the -17, -12, -5, -2, -16, and -33 columns.
Thanks! Once i get this basemap finished i will gladly post it for everyone else to use.
This is what i have compiled so far:
http://home.alltel.net/slacklin/te/ng30-pm6.bin
The previous file was based off of these two files:
http://home.alltel.net/slacklin/te/ng30-try2.bin

You dont need to change the numbers that are pre-setup in the helper XLS...
The column headings are "fucked" right now so what you see is not correct...
When they are fixed, I will update the helper...

I couldn't figure out how to change ANYTHING on that helper deal. I could highlight the ---- out of it, but I couldn't change a ------- thing. I would copy and try to paste some TE maps, but I couldn't figure out how to paste. It just wouldn't let me.

yeah im kind of confused right now.. i guess i didnt realize it would be so difficult to get a stupid pm6 basemap with a ng rom. i figured with as many people running TE it would be easy to get going! but right now ive just got a car that idles / runs like crap because nobody seems to be able to work out a base pm6 rom... im completely lost right now i guess

right now just a NA pm6. 240cc stock injectors. The rom that im running ther car on now is just imported maps in TE, and it runs like crap. ive tried doing the maps via the helper but as you can see i havent been able to do that either. i appreciate it!

Re:NG30 PM6 Basemap - already read the howto
I just re-tried my own method and realized that because now that column headings are all fuxored that the calculations that TE does wont work...it is confused on what to do with the wacky column headings.
The only real way to do it would be to do the WHOLE step by step process using the NG26 or 28 ROM...and then copy/paste the fuel and ignition maps into a NG30 ROM...
...until column headings are fixed
