Homemade A/C, requesting thinkers.

Re: Homemade A/C, requesting thinkers.
If you have a can of refrigerant just bleeding into the atmosphere to cool the car it might last 10 minutes.
Make a tank and a pump then fill it with rubbing alcohol. Then pump the alcohol through the condensor or whatever the thing in the dash is called. Then add dry ice to the tank of alcohol and the dry ice would cool the alcohol to 0 degrees or something as it melts (sublimates). Dry ice has more heat energy or whatever you would call it so it would cool the alcohol cooler and last longer than regular ice.

i like the idea of a small a/c with an inverter mounted in the back seat. make sure it's sealed nice. it would suck/blow air from the trunk/hatch and pump cold air into the cab. but only use when driving and shut off when u stop. or would u be able to run a capaciter or 2 to hold power for when u do come to a stop. i mean guys with big sound systems use them when they need alil more power. but i do think you would have to drill a hole in the floor to run a tube out for the water to drain out.
hmm also don't use good seats haha
