my boat season is about done ..maybe a few broken 1's here and their but i seen you were doing somecarbon work?..i was also thinking about it ...sparaying a release on the hood the taking the carbon piece off and fiberglassing underneath..and clearcoat the carbon ...let me know how you were going to do it..maybe we can share ideas

but basically i plan to spray relese on the hood make a fiberglass female mold, then spraying relese on the inside of the mold and laying my sheet of carbon, then fiberglass and then impregnating them and rolling the epoxy into the strands

thats a good idea...keep the plugs around and mass produce haha..if you also want to share info..sent it to turdbo@hotmail.com

Hhmmm I may try that out with the hood. What do you use for a release agent? I heard you can just lay down a nice coat of wax and it should come right off.

shrink wrap! :P ghetto fab way and lots more paint prep but when you pressed for time siranwrap (sp?) or shrink wrap works fantasticly!

i use waxed paper for release
