All im sayin is if you can weld dont weld on a DP that your goin to be using for your car practice alwhile on other stuff before you put shyt down like her did

He's right, that's what HMT is. Stick whatever you have together with some flux wire and go with it.

i havent even cleaned the pipe yet like most of the guru's said if its no going on your car dont ------- worry about it some header wrap and it will be fine ---- its already welded 3 times over if it breaks ill just go 6 i know im a newb my self but half of the new newbs have no room to talk you can pay some 1 100+ to fabb up a dp for you my car is made by me for me. ill blow your ------- doors off and if my downpipe should so happen to fall of i can say ---- it it cost 30 bucks leave it on the freeway and keep going. (End Rant not intened to people who talk ---- then give tips i know it ugly but hey it dont leak and its stuck together)

Don't worry - you won't be able to get a gas weld to look like that unless you're melting the rod onto the surface, skipping over 1/2 inch and melting another gob, etc... make a puddle and dip - you'll do fine.
