weir has good flanges but the quality of the cut on his is fairly low and you will not be able to seal against it.the piece originally posted has obviously been CNC'd from solid plate.
i've made one off flanges that are 1" thick for customers and they were machined, not laser cut, so the finish that is required isn't hard for me to meet. if anyone is interested in doing one of these i'd be willing to help out. just pm me.

I don't see the point. I bet you get a CDM knock off on ebay within 3 months.

+1
People here aren't typically interested in paying the bucks for the best quality anyways, not saying there is anything wrong with that.

Just change it up a little bit, run the flapper from the side or something and call it an improvement in flow, they cant say ----

in order for someone to make something and not infringe on another product there has to be a 10% difference in the piece. so change the design or use different parts or what ever to set it 10% apart from the original and like 1/10 of the price

The Garretts take a PWM input, I'm sure others do as well. You can use basically any old EBC you have laying around or get HMT with a 555 timer that skews with RPM, driving an IGBT. It'd take less time to do than make this flange doo-dad, and much less expensive. All the newer VNT/VGT turbos have the EGT problems resolved, you just have to worry about keeping the soot from building up which means every tard who doesn't understand how to set up a crankcase breather is going to report massive and frequent VNT/VGT failure, which is fine with me because it keeps those units cheap for those of us who know what we're doing.

I thought it was the series 5..... Whatever though.

I think that setup is stupid on a turbo that small. Some *** tried to tell me i should turbo my six port with stock 4 port turbo parts...... Too much bullshit involved. Secondary flappers....etc. That system would be **** on a rotary with a larger framed turbo though. Maybe on a t04e with a 1.00 a/r hotside or bigger. Hmmm......

There is already someone selling these on Ebay. They don't have the canister wastegate actuator, though.
His initial price was $99 for any style, but I see he has increased the price to #160. Search for "quicker spool".
No, I'm not affiliated in any way.
$500 is just insane for what you get. You can almost buy a complete s400 turbo for that price.
