i don't think the demand is there for them. i couldn't see selling more than 10 of these things. even fewer at $700 a pop. :8

I want to make something like this for my twin scroll GT3271 this summer. I would probably build it a bit different though. And holy ---- are those people proud of those things. Cost more than my turbo did. :1

got an idea, anyone know what throtle plates outta stock honda TB are make out of?

the throttle plates are most def not aluminum. i think they are a hardened brass or something. some aftermarket tb's use stainless plates.

I thought honda tb plates were made of tenzo aluminum 713 I believe.

But on a seperate thought can the exhaust housings be made of some kind of brass like C922 or C876 or something.
B/C I can try to get some made at the foundry I work at. I know most of the brasses we melt require at least 1900 deg F.

I dont think brass would be a good idea, the melting temp is too close to exhaust gas temperatures. Also, not a good idea due to the thermal expansion characteristics of brass.

good idea but i think you could spend your $700 a little better, might make one over winter break

ive been thinking of doing somthing like this but using the same basic design as a diesel exhaust brake trimmed to fit.

weiRtech I may try to make one, how much would a t3 twin scrol flange in 1/2" be ship to 07504?
