Re: divided exhaust housing flapper valve.. quick spool down low, big power up top?
I've lurked on this site awhile looking at the great fabrication and welding.
The divided spool valve has been discussed over at theturboforums for quite awhile and is something I am interested in. I seen a thread here about the same topic, and thought I would share some info. I really don't give too shits about that seller or if you think he is a scammer. I was pointing out that someone has already made a copy for much cheaper. Whether you actually will get what you pay for, I have no idea. |

A copy of a picture is always easy to make.

my t 4 is not divided so i would think using this was make a block = less flow?? but maybe i dont understand how it works??

You can only take advantage of this flapper valve if you have a divided housing turbo and a non-divided manifold. I have no idea if running this would cause positive or negative results on a normal housing turbo. It will create more exhaust pressure flowing out of the manifold, but then it will slow down the flow to compress the exhaust gas.
