different log collector, should I, or should I just go about doing it normally?

different log collector, should I, or should I just go about doing it normally?
------- around with making a log for my celica
wondering how i was going to do the collector, I don't really like the rectangle extender piece and was wondering if something like this would flow better, or would it be not worth my time?
i would be able to mount a waste gate directly to it with no flange as well, assuming i use thick enough steel.

That cardboard will never hold.
jk, that looks like a good design, but I doubt you'll notice much improvement over a typical log mani. But who knows, it may work better than a 800 dollar ram horn. If you got time on ur hands, give it a go.
BTW I just read a great book:

i think it would work better if you cut two t's in half and basically ran them out where you want the flange to be. of course you'd have to cut the two t's you've already got in half, just not the full length.
does that make sense?

not really, i'm having a hard time picturing it. it's a real tight fit unless i get a different rad, that's why i'm making a log instead of something else.
I tried to use the 3sgte manifold, but my transmission has the starter on the block side for some reason, so this time around i'm just making the mani. i'm going to try to mount the compressor side next to the a/c so i can run the charge pipe under that passenger side head light. Then use a 180 and a 90 for the down pipe in pure reach around configuration. I want to remove the ac, but it's on a serpentine with the alt and i'd need to fab something up that would tension the belt. T I bought a pulley from an mr2 that's grooved and not meant to run on the back side of the belt, like my tensioner, but I couldn't tell from the ebay pic that the mr2 tensioner uses a 3 grove belt, where my celica uses 4.
