Wait till you see it on their site with weirs sweet tags ground off and som pur ---- tacked on there... Aaron gave me a great product and shipped fast when i ordered my flanges, if i had the money i would have had him make me a mani. Takes some kind of douchebag *** fister to not pay a man like aaron

if you would just stop sucking aarons dick for FIVE minutes, you would realize there are, AS ALWAYS, two sides to this story. im not saying aaron is 100% to blame here. he's not. but this witchhunt against pur auto is ------- ridiculous and it only goes against aaron, and especially against HMT. every board you retards posted on sees right through your juvenile, "im a fuckn internet superstar OG", tactics. its not gonna get you anywhere. its especially not going to get aaron anywhere in this matter.

so cut the crap for a few minutes and listen to a goddamn reasonable explanation that recognizes both parties responsible for this fucked up situation. like i just said, aaron is not 100% to blame. but he is partially to blame. pur is also partially to blame. but not 100% to blame as you would all love to think.

i repeat, aaron is not beyond blame in this situation.

ive read both versions of the story and i can already see there are elements missing that aaron conveniently forgot to mention in his post.


aaron is a very decent welder but by no means is he a professional fabricator. his welds look pretty and im sure they hold up strongly but they certainly are not world class. get over it. he also doesnt have any welding certificates or tickets to back up his work. i know, a lot of people say certs are bullshit-- but when its your fuckn business, they mean at least something, if not everything.

regardless...

the headers look okay sitting by themselves, off the car. the mounts.. well they dont look particularly great but im sure theyd work fine if they fit properly. but they dont fit.

NEITHER of the items FIT as required. there is no real excuse for this. saying "i wasnt given enough direction" is bullshit. they paid him to do the fabricating. when you ask $5000 for your work, you better make sure the items fit. i dont see how aaron can avoid responsibility for this.

aaron wasnt being paid to bend and weld some pipes to a collector. he was being paid to make sure the item FIT TO SPEC.

this means making engine mounts that MATCH so that the engine sits LEVEL. why is everyone overlooking this fact? this isnt a small oversight. this is the ------- core of the issue.

the engine mounts that aaron fabricated look like this:




they aren't equal and therefore make the engine sit TILTED, which isnt what was requested. maybe this wasnt made clear enough, but it was assumed that aaron realized, as a fabricator of engine mounts, that the v8 needed to be level. so the mounts were supposed to be equal. they werent.




also, by showing each header indvididually, aaron conveniently didnt show you the warp in the flanges (and the different flange thicknesses...).





so why is PUR supposed to pay aaron full price for a product that does not work?

they have already paid half the balance, $2500, in GOOD FAITH, assuming the work would be redone to spec. this hasnt happened. they gave up on the chance of that happening.




pur doesnt go around scamming people or trying to rip people off. they wanted to outsource some fabrication, like any shop might do, because of time constraints. they gave credit to aaron, perhaps where it wasnt due. this was their fault for not checking to make sure aaron could do what he said he could.

also there was obviously a fuckn lack of communication that did nothing to resolve the issue. both sides got butthurt and now HMT thinks pur tried to rape aaron and that theyre some kind of scam artists. definitely not the case.

aaron is not a scam artist either. nobody thinks that. he obviously didnt mean to ---- up the situation. but now it's gone so far that neither sides are talking ..

and now there are ------- witchhunts and HMT tardlings trying to serve some kind of street justice.. without hearing both sides.

in other words, HMT JUMPED TO CONCLUSIONS.

for the record, aaron is not a welding god. he's not jesus' own fabricator. he might be your god... and thats fine. enjoy him. more power to you.

BUT, all your attempts to spam message boards and fill up voicemails and whatever other parts of your crusade... these actions are only hurting aaron. and theyre also hurting you, HMT (as if you give a ----, i know, i know).

people are attributing your stupidity to aaron, and thats not fair either. aaron didnt start the spam but a lot of people on those boards think it was him that initiated the posts. i know better, obviously, and i dont hold it against aaron.

i dont want to see aarons reputation ruined. i also dont want to see pur's reputation ruined.

both sides are saying neither contacted the other to no answer. i dont know anything about that.. so i cant speak to that. i wasnt there. both sides are saying the other guy is 100% at fault. not true.

both parties are at fault. neither parties are scammers-- both are trying to build solid reputations and neither deserves to get a trial by fire without knowing both sides.

this whole HMT crusade against pur is retarded and its only making things worse, and not just for pur. but for aaron's reptuation in southern ontario as well.

people should learn how business runs before letting their mouths run.

my question is if your not happy with the work then return the parts and get the money back. So that way someone will pay him closer to what is expected for labor and materials.

If you are not happy about the work, then you should ask him to lower it. EVEN IF HE DOES NOT, you are responsible for the rendered work. Work that Pur obviously accepted, and used you god damned moron.


Lien the car and watch the owner never get a loan. Lien the shop and watch the shop pay up, or fold in 10mo or less from not being able to buy anything on a loan.
