Default Zietronix, H-T GB What Exactly Should I buy?

http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1011210

Theres a the group buy on Honda-Tech, now I know Im going to need an accurate air/fuel measurement on my car.

I plan on boosting 16-18psi + nitrous, Ive already got the motor pretty much built but am just starting researching tuning and fuel management.

I would be using turboedit, 3bar map sensor and will have a shitty laptop dedicated for tuning.

Could anyone explain to me or help me as to what I would need out of this group buy? What everything does?

Like what is that Lambda? EGT?

Are they really that hard to install? Or is it just another 02 bung welded into my downpipe and thats all for the air/fuel?

Thanks guys

Their website says it all:

www.zeitronix.com

All I bought was the ZT2 itself. If you're a baller you can buy the display, boost sensor, and egt probe... i'd say if you're going to 16-18 psi, you're probably going to want the boost sensor... and if you're using nitrous, you're probably going to want the egt probe. :P But the display is pretty useless imo (for regular users). Maybe for a built engine like yours, it'd be helpful unless you want to run your laptop in your car all the time...

Lambda is a number that denotes the oxygen percentage in the air in relation to fuel. Same thing as Air/Fuel Ratio, just on a differnt scale. 1 lambda = 14.7 AFR. This means 14.7 parts of air to 1 part fuel.

EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature

No they arent hard to install. You can get another bung installed or you can use the stock bung and run a narrowband output to the ECU. For other sensors, if you are logging them, just tap into the wire for that sensor and run it to your WB

Thanks guys

i have the zeitronix and love it.. it works great. a very worthwhile investment! i have not purchased the EGT or boost gauge.. the zeitronix has 1 user input which i tapped my MAP sensor for.. so using the tables found on this site or ht, you can log the vacuum/boost as your map sensor sees it, which is close to the tables in turboedit
